Did you know there are many emotional and physical benefits from journaling? When I lost Izzie, journaling became a routine that helped me channel my grief into words. It was a therapeutic release but it was also a way to continue feeling connected to her. I soon started to call these pages in a notebook “Letters to Izzie.” I don’t write to her as often anymore, but she is never far from my mind. It felt appropriate to call our blog this same name, taking it back to where it all began.
