At four years young, Brooklyn has been a part of her family since she was just four months old. From the very beginning, she has been a sweet, loving companion and the perfect little sister to her big brother, Bronx. Together, they’ve shared countless adventures, filling their home with laughter, loyalty, and unconditional love.
Recently, Brooklyn’s family noticed that something wasn’t right. After a series of veterinary visits and diagnostic testing, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Her veterinarians also discovered protein in her urine, raising concerns about possible kidney damage and the need for ongoing monitoring and treatment.
Brooklyn has begun an aggressive treatment plan that includes a series of antibiotic injections to fight the infection. As her treatment progresses, she will undergo repeat bloodwork and abdominal X-rays so her veterinary team can closely monitor her kidneys and ensure she is responding well to therapy.
While her diagnosis is serious, Brooklyn’s family remains hopeful. With prompt treatment and careful follow-up, they are optimistic that she can recover and continue enjoying life with the family who adores her—and with Bronx by her side every step of the way.
