Hello everyone! My name is Dakota. My mom says I am a very good boy. I love to eat and play with my sister, Mishka. My favorite toy is my squeeky ball.
Recently, mommy found a growth on my eyelid and took me to see the vet. My growth needs to be removed since it might interfere with my eyesight and could also cause an
ulcer on my eye which would be painful. My mommy says I have very pretty eyes.
A couple weeks later mommy found a huge mass behind my ear that keeps getting bigger. It’s very big and red and ugly. I had to go back to visit the vet. The mass also has
to be removed and a biopsy has to be performed to make sure there isn’t a bigger problem.
Mommy was upset and worried about how to pay for the surgeries but then a friend of my aunts told her about the Izzie Fund. The Izzie Fund accepted me into the program
and will fund my surgeries. Mommy and I are eternally grateful. Thank you for helping me!
