Ghost is a gentle giant with an even bigger heart! Incredibly smart, loyal, and protective of his family, Ghost is the natural leader of his pack. Beneath his strong exterior is a sweet, nurturing soul who has even been known to lovingly care for foster puppies and a tiny rescued kitten.
Ghost came into his family’s life during a difficult time, bringing much-needed companionship, comfort, and unconditional love. Despite facing painful health challenges as a puppy, he grew into a strong, playful boy who loves spending time with his family and fellow pups.
Unfortunately, Ghost’s playful days have been interrupted by a painful cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear in his right hind leg, leaving him struggling with lameness and unable to run and play like he once did. Without surgery, his condition could worsen and lead to painful arthritis.
After surgery, Ghost has an excellent chance of returning to the activities he loves. That’s where The Izzie Fund hopes to make a difference, helping give this sweet boy the chance to live a happy, active, and pain-free life.
Ghost has spent his life looking out for those he loves. Now it’s his turn to be cared for.
Ever wonder what The Izzie Fund does? This. Is. It! We provide hope to those in need. We keep families together. We keep dogs out of shelters. WE SAVE LIVES.
